Ok everyone, Here we are with the long anticipated, list of vehicles. For those of you who wish to compete, select the vehicle that you would most prefer to model. The one with the most votes will be the vehicle of choice. Everyone will then produce a 1/10 scale clay model to the best of their ability. Any problems during the course of the construction can be resolved by posting your questions and photos so that it can be answered in a timely manner. To assist you in your choice check out the images of the vehicles. Mini Cooper, Honda Civic Si, Citroen C2, Ford Ka, Chevrolet Aveo.[/img] Don't forget, to be able to vote you must log-on to enable the poll. The poll will be available for one week then I will provide basic data to set you on your way. If there are any questions, post before the poll ends. Have fun!!!! Steve A

Hi Steeve, Nice selection of cars, it should be perfect for a first project. Maybe I have made a mistake or something. I’m not sure I voted for the good car because I have clicked on almost everywhere to understand how it was working ! So perhaps I have chosen the mini instead of the C2. It’s ok, no matters which car is chosen we’ll learn good things. It’s going to be fun ! Anyway here's was my choice : 1) Citroen C2 2) Chevrolet Aveo 3) Civic Si or Mini Cooper 4) Ford Ka I think the C2 Citroen can be a great choice for a beginning. The shape looks basic but interesting surfaces have been developed if you look closer and for sure the challenge will be here. Here in France we see a lot of them in the streets and the front and rear ends look interesting. I will look forward to decompose the diff surfaces if the C2 is chosen. When the vote will be finished, I hope you'll say us which car you would have personally chosen, or at least giving quick comments on what you think are the particularities of each car for a sculptor. C’mon people, come to participate ! See you. Seb

Hi Seb, If you tried to vote today (Oct 26 04) then your vote wasn't recorded. When you log-on and go to this thread the poll should have small icons to the left that you click-on. Once you have selected, just submit vote to record. I would suggest that you try again as everyones vote will count for the final selection. If there are problems with the poll please let me know. Good luck, Steve A

Ok Guys, Let's not be shy, cast your votes so that we can select the model and get the competition underway. We need to have a few more opinions at least, to make it a little more exciting. Steve A

The Mini has a more 'pure' form and cleaner lines, which in my opinion at least, would be a bit easier to capture.

Ok Guys, I guess there wasn't that much interest with only four votes but for those of you who want to do the model, the winner is the Citroen C2. With a bit of luck I'll have the relevant information posted by next week for you to get started. It didn't really matter which vehicle came out on top as each has it's own unique qualities. To capture the same form in a scale model will take work but you will be able to refer to pictures to assist. The fortunate people who live in Europe will be able to see the vehicle in reality. Don't forget this is a 1/10 scale model. Steve A
